Service Description
Take 15 minutes to connect with me, get to know my approach, and discuss what you're looking for in your pregnancy, birth, or postpartum journey. We'll talk about your needs, preferences, questions, and the type of support you're looking for. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation designed to help us see if we're a good fit and determine which doula service may be right for you. Cancellation Policy
1. **Purpose of Consultation:** - A free consultation provides an opportunity to discuss services, ask questions, and determine if the doula is the right fit for your needs. - This is an informational session to explore your birth preferences, discuss the doula’s approach, and clarify any concerns. 2. **Duration:** - The free consultation typically lasts 15 to 30 minutes. - It may take place via phone, video call, or in-person, depending on mutual agreement and availability. 3. **Scheduling & Availability:** - Free consultations are available by appointment only. - Sessions are scheduled based on the doula’s availability and may require a few days' notice. - A confirmation email or message will be sent once the consultation is booked. 4. **No Obligation:** - There is no obligation to hire the doula after the consultation. - Clients are encouraged to take their time to make a decision and may book services with another provider if desired. 5. **Preparation:** - Clients should come prepared to discuss their birth plans, any specific needs or preferences, and any questions they have about the doula’s services. - Information shared during the consultation should include medical history or any birth preferences that may be relevant. 6. **Cancellation & Rescheduling:** - A 24-hour notice is requested for cancellations or rescheduling. - If the consultation is missed without notice, a follow-up session may not be offered unless special arrangements are made. 7. **Confidentiality:** - All information discussed during the consultation is confidential. - The doula will respect the privacy of all personal details shared during the meeting. 8. **Follow-Up:** - After the consultation, clients may receive an email summarizing key details of the discussion and next steps. - Clients can reach out with any additional questions following the session, but a formal follow-up may be scheduled if needed. 9. **Scope of Consultation:** - The free consultation is designed to answer general questions and provide an overview of services. - It is not a full assessment or medical consultation. 10. **Liability:** - The doula is not liable for any decisions made during or after the consultation. - The consultation is for informational purposes and should not replace professional medical advice. Respect & Professionalism: Clients are expected to treat the doula with respect and professionalism during the consultation.
