Service Description
Birth is more than a physical experience—it is a mental, emotional, spiritual, and transformative journey. As your birth doula, I’m here to support and prepare you throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the transition into motherhood. Together, we’ll connect and reflect on your pregnancy journey, your birth intentions, concerns, and the everyday things that may come up along the way. You’ll receive ongoing communication and personalized support as we work through your birth preferences, explore birth visualization and intentions, and prepare mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally for your birth experience. Support may include: -Connect & Reflect sessions -Ongoing communication and encouragement -Birth visualization & intentions -Birth preferences and birth plan support -Labor preparation and continuous labor support -Labor notes, if desired -Connecting with your higher self and inner strength -Breastfeeding basics -Holistic comfort measures and at-home relaxation techniques -Support and education around postpartum preparation -Discussion of placenta options and ideas My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, empowered, and connected to yourself as you prepare for birth and motherhood. Please Note: The 1-hour session duration shown for booking purposes does not represent the full scope of Birth Doula Support. This service includes ongoing support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period.
Cancellation Policy
*Purpose of Group Calls* To provide a supportive space for doulas and their families to connect, share experiences, and discuss relevant topics. Topics include self-care, business growth, emotional support, and community building. Open discussions, Q&A sessions, and guest speakers may be included. -Call Structure: Calls are held weekly at a scheduled time. Each session typically lasts 60-90 minutes. Facilitated by a lead doula and is up for open sharing. -Registration & Attendance: Participants must register in advance to secure a spot in the call. Calls are open to all doulas, their families, and community members. Regular attendance is encouraged for continuity and support. -Fees & Payment: Weekly group calls is a fixed cost (depending on the program). Payments, if applicable, are due before the first call or on a recurring schedule. No refunds for missed sessions, but recordings may be available for registered participants. -Group Etiquette & Participation: Respectful communication and confidentiality are expected. Everyone is encouraged to share, but participation is optional. Be mindful of time and give others space to speak. -Cancellation & Rescheduling: A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations. In case of unforeseen cancellations by the facilitator, a makeup session will be scheduled if possible. -Technical Requirements: Participants must have access to a reliable internet connection for video or audio participation. If technical issues arise during the call, the facilitator will work to resolve them or reschedule. -Confidentiality: All discussions and shared personal information in the group are confidential and should not be shared outside of the call. Community members should feel safe to express themselves in a non-judgmental environment. -Content Sharing: The group facilitator may record calls for internal use or for those who missed the session. Recordings will be shared with registered participants only. Content discussed in the calls is for personal use and should not be reproduced without permission. -Support & Resources: Additional resources, readings, or tools may be shared during or after the call to enhance learning and community engagement. Participants are encouraged to bring up any topics they wish to discuss in future calls. -Liability: The facilitator is not responsible for any advice or information shared during the calls. The calls are for informational and community-building purposes and should not replace professionals.
